RODI unit

hi...i am looking at purchasing an RODI unit..i want one that works well and isn't too expensive..

some options...

The second definitely looks like the better of the two...

The first from the description and the pic it LOOKS like it has an RO, but then it says 1 sediment filter and 2 carbon filters. Unless that "Post carbon filter" is an RO.

first one doesnt look like a ro unit just the carbon filters,

the second unit is a ro but not a rodi unit, as it has no DI cartridge

That's just a cartridge change anyway, getting the housings is really the important part, not really so much the expendables inside them.

well the first one is no go get the second one and re plumb it then buy di resin and replace the granular carbon with di resin neither of the ones you looked at have di resin which is an important part otherwise you will never get a TDS=0 reading from it you will also want the DI resin to be after the RO part. the post RO filter dosent really have any effect for fishkeeping purposes and could be binned
