reptilez
Hi...i was wanting to sell my 2 blue tongued lizards but i got told that it is not possible as i live in Auckland.. Before i puchased my Blueys ,1year ago,i rang up MAF and asked them if i can purchase them and bring them into Auckland.. they said that they never heard of a law about not being able to bring blue tongues into Auckland.. SO what do i do ?? if i want to sell them ??
alanmin4304
The restriction is not from Maf but from the Regional Council. Pet bus will not carry them to or from Auckland I understand.

livingart
Blue-tongued skinks are a declared pest in the region and are no longer able to be sold or distributed, whereas the other species listed below are only a declared pest when they are not held in secure containment. from here http://www.arc.govt.nz/albany/fms/main/Documents/Environment/Plants%20and%20animals/animal%20pests.pdf

Jason22
As of that site you are allowed to keep Shingleback lizards and bearded dragons only grow to 250mm
