Sophia Posted September 3, 2011 Report Share Posted September 3, 2011 Thinking of caving and getting a fighter fish .... it would look prettiest in my planted tank with my little group of celestial pearl danios, but has anyone tried this and found that they don't get on? The danios are peaceful as far as I know. Do you think they'd be nippy? Also will the fighter actively hunt down my CPD fry till they are too big to eat, or are they more opportunistic and will just grab the easy pickings? We had the guppy fry in with the fighters at Expo and everyone was surprised they didn't get eaten. I had one that decided he liked to eat neons, but others that haven't bothered with guppy fry etc etc so its a trial and error thing sometimes.
