Using Non-Aquarium safe silicon on DIY CO2

many of them are OK, they just haven't bothered to test on aquariums so don't risk any hassle by saying they can be used in the aquarium. The sort you really can't use is the stuff with mould inhibitors, but general plain old standard silicone is OK. If you post the name of it no doubt someone can tell you if they've used it.

Some takes longer to go off than others too.
