puppydog
Hi again all. Thank you very much for all of the help I received regarding my last question about my first proposed community fish tank. My size of tank and my fish choices have changed however, and so once again I call upon your professional (or at least informed) advice:) My tank is about 93ltrs (80cm x 30cm x 50cm) it has plenty of drift wood, white silica sand & will have a nice amount of live plants. So all things being considered, is my choice of tank mates going to lead to “happy families” of more likely “squabbling siblings”? My fish choices consist of: 1 x Albino Bristle Nose 9 x Neon Tetras 9 x Zebra Danios 5 x Zebra Loach 3 x Blue Platties Thank you in advance for any help/advice you can offer me. the-obstacle
They'll all be quite happy together. You might find that a single school of either the danios or the neons looks better than a mixture of the 2 but you can decide that after you've got them. Either way it's a good mix for a peaceful community tank.
Tsarmina
it won't be too bad considering danios are top level swimmers and neons are mid level. you may want to get a few more of the platties though.
