007
Hi Mr Bond 007 last time i got the impression you did not like the blue base gold:D i am relieved to know you import blue base gold. so what types of XB/Gold do you import and are able to import in also prices. Also on my post, i saw a BLACK BASE GOLD XB. what is that? is that just a blue base with darker base or is that a new variant? 1. Personlly, i dont like blue base and that is for my client. For XB, I only like Gold base because 24K gold is more nice!! haha 2. Blue base XB/ gold base's XB price is same. 3. The Black base , we call "Heijingang" and is originally from "Henry Fish Farm" and that is one kind of golden base. The Golden base put to black tank since day born. However, the bad thing is the fish is not very nice when the fish young. People will think that is a High Back Gold not a Crossback Gold when the fish young because to the gold area and pearl scale in the tail. To judge a XB and HB in the young age(10cm-18cm), its 90% depend on the pearl scale on the tail. "Heijinhang" XB in the dark evironment and the fish will become fully XB time very slow --- the pearl scale is not fully gold. (But a normal gold base XB's pearl scale should be already fully gold when the fish young.) That's why a lots people do not recon "Heijingang" is a XB when it young. Henward, you could search that online, you will find hardly to have a pic for that fish when they are young because it really look like a RTG or HB. However, after the fish 25cm to 30 cm, everything should come out and nice.

henward
If i am not mistaken, that is a 'king VIP' correct me if i am wrong King:D it rhymes, im a rapper :dunno: anyway to be honest, i believe that photo is somewhat enhanced by photo shop. My friend has show n me what he has done with my current red, easily done. i dont think that is a viable gauge of actual fish to be honest. henward
go to arowanaclub.com there are articles there alot of them are champion arowanas none of them look even clos to that that picture is in my opinion slighlty enhanced. though there are some spectacular specimens. i find that the most spectacular specimens are GOLDS, these fish generally are not tampered with when it comes to photos. but when it comes to reds, i generally find that many pictures are enhanced or red lights are used
