A few of us usually give them away for free on here, and if they sell; they will seldom do so for more than $5 a pup or thereabouts. HFF does get the odd red lotus in so maybe there was just a mixup this time.

I've been after red pups for a while now, can't seem to track any down. I did hear that they had the red at hff, I had a friend check them out and he said they were all greens. I gave up after that.

I've seen one or two for sale at Hff Roskill over the last year, think they were $45 or $50 each time, but it's rare to find them being sold. I know Mt Roskill has a good number of red pups in a tank there, but they aren't actually for sale as it's a staff member's project. Although, the large ones that they did sell came from that tank if I remember correctly, so maybe they sell them once they get to a certain size? They go pretty quick, so unless if you are able to check in often, Trademe might be your best bet. I've definitely seen some on TM before, but due to their rarity here, they're still pretty hard to find.

Red lotus' have been going on Trade Me lately for $15 with a $20 buy now. That's where I got mine, it was huge too.
