I also have Planaria in that system, can you set it up in an isolation tank (to check for contamination)? I would likely pick new plants & wash hard which should get rid of the worms (or alternatively I know Sodium metabisulphate kills them if the plant can survive the treatment) Not sure how to easily insert a photo here or I would.
