Insect Direct
Hatchlings reach 15cm at around 4weeks. So yeah sounds small for a year. Should be nearly double that imo. Time will tell if its permanently stunted or not. What are you feeding it, basking and night time temp, reptile bulb etc?

alanmin4304
banana is high in phosphorus and should be fed sparingly strawberries are high in oxelates and are the same spinach is high in Vit A & oxelates and the same lettuce has poor nutritional value mealworms are high in fat Celery is good if chopped finely dandelion leaves are cheap and good as a staple. High phosphorus or oxelates inhibits calcium absorption Fat soluble Vitamins like A can accumulate and become toxic
Insect Direct
check out below website for vege if you havent already. http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.c ... ition.html try getting more of the vege highlighted in green included in the diet. lettuce and spinach are very questionable, i dont use those at all. repto
get plenty of gut loaded locusts and/or crickets into him.80% protein (insects) 20% vegetables, ease up on the mealworms, spinach, letteuce as the others mentioned.Calcium suppliments rather than vitamins and get him out into natural sunlight as much as you can. Insect Direct
blue tongues get more meat (i use catfood. its replace's the carrion they would normally scavenge for and eat in the wild), insects occasionally (should be more) same salad as bd and some banana. mashed all together so they eat it all the good stuff . bds - insects and vege. some fruits ok occasionally. crickets and or locusts as staple. mealworms about once a month. salad i aim for 80% leafy greens (mustard, dandelion, nasturtium leaves (need to check that actually) 20% flowers, clover and or grated carrot. its not an exatct science here and im still very much learning, but thats basically what i feed. Insect Direct
not at all, infact its probably not the best food for them. just convenient and they seem to do ok with it as part of their diet. lots of insects and a few pinkies (mice) would be better.
