aquariumbeginner32
Ok so I recently learned about flukes that freshwater fish etc can carry. I'm just curious.. I won't be getting freshwater fish (strictly coldwater) but does anyone here know about flukes? If you have freshwater fish can you get them from your fish? I've read you can get flukes. And I've read peoples stories about having them I learnt about them when I was researching about parasites. I'd never heard of them.
Caryl
The coldwater fish you will get are freshwater. Unless you plan to keep marines or brackish fish, your fish will be freshwater ones - either cold or tropical. The flukes in humans are different to the ones that infect fish. hovmoller
I saw some of your questions earlier and I guess the terminology is confusing.. Best to use the terms "cold water" and "tropical" for unheated and heated aquariums respectively
