Where is the pond? one of the many ponds in Wattle Downs .. wattle Cove end. not sure whether it's grass carp but was hard to get a really good look. I know or have heard of people employed to clear weed clogged drains with "sterile" Japanese grass carp if this is what you were refering to? Down at my local ponds (Totara Park) DoC has authorized the release of grass carp for (what I believe) is the control of water weeds.
