Artem
Has anyone ever used these before or has heard of other people using them? Info: www.americanaquariumproducts.com They come in 6500K and actinic tubes. You can get fixtures of 8, 11 and 13 Watts: 32, 43.8 and 53.7cm respectively. And the bulbs are only 1/4" in width! So what are your thoughts on these? I quite like them because of their compact size.
Ismart120
From what I've heard they're the 'new' lighting system, kinda like t5s are to t8? But don't come in as many colours or sizes just yet? I'd be a little interested to see what happens with them before I did anything, any idea if they're more efficient than HO t5s? Feeling a little left behind with my old t8s really...

Ismart120
man I'd love some MH's. Cant quite afford the $1700 for the four foot unit I saw the other day though....

So...Don't buy a 4 foot unit. Other units for house lighting, industrial etc show up reasonably frequently for $100ish.
