DennisP
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJdWDNt7 ... re=related Seeing this video makes me want 2. Who has had experience with them as people often say only 1 as they will kill each other, yet theres videos like these and that person on TM a while back who had a whole tank full. Is it possible to have more than 1 peacefully?
phoenix44
Don't mix black and brown, but given enough space, shade and hiding places you can have more than one BGK in a tank. I did.
DennisP
Might do it then. Why not black and brown?
phoenix44
Tried black and brown in about 4 different tanks with 8 different fish and the browns always tattered the blacks.
DennisP
Interesting. They are definitely cool fish! 2 big ones along with geo's etc might be a bit cramped in my tank though.
R32GOTMLK
ive got 2 bgk in my tank and they get along fine just worried about adding the other 2 to the tank lol
henward
i have 2 in my tank, get along fine. one is huge, the other is smaller. the other has a funny long snout, different variant apparently but not sure. i just thin its a bgk with a long snout. they are fine. i had a banded, clown knife and a bgk together....totally fine now i hvqae 2 big CK, and 2 big BGK, .... also fine. enough hiding spots or enough other fish.... aggression is nullified.... although some cases its not, like arowanas, they will single the other one out. phoenix44
No that is again different. Brown looks no different to the Black; apart from the obvious colour difference.
