mashedaz
Im getting my new 6ft in a few weeks and I have a 40cm long by 20cm deep giant gourami. Will he be ok in a 6ftx2ftx2ft? Also I have a 20cm long clown knife. If I put them strait in it togeather can i be expecting them to fight or will they be ok considering there is no territory set? Fruju
Preferably larger tank IMO, big a$$ fish and big waste, Clowns get too big also, thats why i had to sell mine
livingart
it will depend on the personalities of the fish involved giving the knife plenty of hiding places that the gourami can't get at could work out
henward
yeah, in my opinion though your CK will die. GGs are nasty, every gg i have had has been a nasty piece of work
David R
Agree with Henward, there's a good reason why HFF only keep fast fish like tinfoils and silver dollars with Helen. IMO 6x2x2 could be a bit small long term....
henward
when GGs get to about 12 to 14 inches, their growth i found slowed down heaps. but thats also when they get extremely territorial i really think you need to revise the idea:D

True, possibly due to being confined to a tank, in a massive pond or huge tank they'd probably keep growing steadily.
henward
yeah, the tank was only 600 litres. i eventually got rid of it. it was either the gg or RTG.....
