henward
ok, my two 1200litre tanks share the same system. one tank has discus and black aro the other has rtg and many fish. i have done this previously but just wondering, always you see LIVE FOOD INTROS DISEASES. true, gold fish and fish do. but i breed my own locust and meal worms. will they introduce disease if i feed it to the aros? Insect Direct
maybe. i would say much like fish..there is a risk. but in most cases the benefit far out weighs the risk. not a disease as such. but ive seen a massive worm that came out of a locust, apparently roaches are known to be worse. anyway all part of life i suppose. henward
yeah, cos insect feeding to fish is common. i know that some diseases, harbour themselves differently in different animals. just because its in a human doesnt mean a dog or cat will catch it.
