LYNDYLOO
I agree with IRA, as long as they've got plenty of Hidey Holes they should be fine.

waterlogged
yea the girls brother isn't to thrilled with being taken out or the tank but the other male has berly noticed the difference. so if anyone wants a young male only just showing bristles let me know
LYNDYLOO
Why have you removed the Brother??
waterlogged
one when they get bigger i won't have room for 6 might have to take one of the girls out too eventually, and don't want them interbreeding. even though they're probably too young just yet. i will put him in my planted tank when i finally get it going and might swap one of my females for another from different place
waterlogged
ok so my planted tank is aways off. Are bristle noses very territorial? will the two males survive ok in the same tank with females? one is bigger than the other by a bit
Ira
ok so my planted tank is aways off. Are bristle noses very territorial? Not really. will the two males survive ok in the same tank with females? Yes. You don't have to worry about sizes, genders, etc. Just throw them all together, it doesn't matter. Worst case they'll occasionally push each other around a bit little.
