gagaforfish
Not a very good title... My thermometer reads 21degrees, but my heater is set on 26degrees after being on all night? Is either broken? OR is the water still not warmed after my 1/3 water change last night? Since I got the tank I have never seen such a difference in temp on the dials... Any ideas why this is? Caryl
The settings on heaterstats are not very accurate. I assume before when your thermometer said 26C the heaterstat was also set at 26C?
breakaway
How big is the tank, how many watts is your heater, and how cold is your house?
gagaforfish
Never mind... After I posted that I went and checked the tank and the cat (i'm guessing) had removed the plug for the filter.. so the water wasn't circulating, the thermometer side was cool and the other normal.. its fine now...
