Where to find polystyrene?

I've been looking through the net for awhile now. And i cant seem to find anything close to me. I live in howick.

Any ideas where i can get?

Go out the back of Harvey Norman etc or any big store that sells tv's, fridges etc. There is usually a big wire container full of bits of polystyrene all shapes out in their rubbish.

I work at an appliance store and yes, Poly is something we will gladly give away. I believe in some of the larger centres it is taken as recycling but in most provincial towns pay ridiculous amounts to dispose of it.

I would never dream of buying the stuff. I pay too much to get rid of it.

if you have to buy new Payless plastics has it as well.

there is a branch of bondor in Auckland who make blocks of polystyrene who then makes walls for portcom and under floor insulation panels..ask them nicely
