reef
Just have not done a water change in 2 months so i thought it needed it. The corals look great and seem really happy.

Fay
I do 5% weekly required by zeovit system, I find it much less hassel and do the 5% out of the sump. It's a big plus living a the beach, Frog drives 3km on his 3 wheel motor bike and can drive down to waters edge
skuzza
When coral comes out of the water it creates a mucas that protects it from sun burn and other undesirables. Also keeps it meaty bits from drying.I am guessing it is the same slimy stuff that you feel and see after you man handle it. dan_from_nz
such an awsome tank, Is it healthy or unhealthy for the coral to be out of water???
lduncan
Most corals are fine with it. In the wild, some can be out of water for a couple of hours a day, during very low tides. Layton
