phoenix44
I'm forgetting what sort of sword plant this is but it decided to give out a flower bud the other day. Its been growing rapidly since then. The plant has new red, yellow and orange leaves and they mature and go green and very hard and strong. Adrienne
I had one of your swords go up over a metre over the top of my tank Phoenix - so I bent it across the lid of the 5ft and stuck it back in the other end of the tank. I've kept some of the plantlets from it and they are now in my tank but I have disposed of the mother plant

phoenix44
So its been about a month now. That same flower bud, flowered, and i kept it emmersed and now there is a plantlet! it will obviously be a clone to the mother plant that I think is an Ozelot x Red Rose. Another new flower spike emerged 2 days ago too. Will update with pics in a while.

alanmin4304
Ozelot has brown spots on the leaves---hence the name. I have rose emersed but had only grown it submersed in low light. It has a runner and plantlets with nice looking leaves at the moment. I think there was an osiris called rose as well as "rose"
phoenix44
yeah, some of the leaves on the mother plant have leaves. they come and go as the light changes and the leaf matures.
