Deepsound
Hi, Here are my dario dario. It's a percoid and not really an anabantoid. It's very little fish (about 2cm). They only eat live food. I give them mosquito larvas, daphnias, copepodes and so on. They are 3 in a 40 L tank, with a lot of plants (anubias, moss, hydrocotyle, lilaeopsis, eleocharis...) and a lot of hiding places and a lot of oak leaves. Sandy soil. No filter, just a water pump with a very slow flow. Natural light but 11 w lighting added during winter. Same thing for heater (they can tolerate 15°C to 28°C, rather prefer 24-26C) View from the left side of the tank

Deepsound
Thanks Dav Yep, thoses little ones are also named Badis badis bengalensis. But watch out : badis badis is another fish, pretty much longer (6 - 7 cm) and light brown with blue fins. http://www.mkbasia.com/wild/blue_badis.jpg Fish names are sometimes a kind of brain teaser...
