    Cleaner water, less light.

    feed less, less non eaten food, means less nutrients for the algae to use and grow.

    Try avoiding direct sunlight, and feed them less food. If it doesn't work, you might need to purchase alga fix from pet stores. I have two GBAs (catfish) and they are great at keeping my tank free of any form of algae

    what type of algae or at least what colour is it and how long does it grow? Is it just spots on your glass?
