Ah i knew i forgot something.

tank is L 8ft x W 2 1/2ft x H 2ft

currently in the tank are

2 15cm silver dollars

2 18-20cm oscars

1 25cm silver aro

3 pleco 25 - 32cm

3 Birches 35 - 42cm

i could put the pearl aro into another tank to grow a bit bigger as they are only 10cm at the moment

you can house the jar and grow it on seperately for awhile

in the 8 footer you may just end up only housing the jar though

by the time it grows bigger your plans may change

a few of the jars for sale will reappear next year fr sale when some come to regret that impolse buy

mine came out of a 620T at less than retail ones now, was originally bought for 450 and passed through a few hands

my favourite fish

1 on 1, your success is not good even if your tank is big, you can be lucky, but i doubt it.

if your tank was MASSIVE, then perhaps, you hav a good chance.

the silver will attack the smaller jar.

if the jar was to survive...it would fight back.

if you were to separate it by a separator, maybe you can observe them if any agro comes up, almost guaranteed though.

then sometimes they get used to each other after a couple of years.

but that is nto ideal though.

i would say, sell the silver, settle with one.

i tried to mix silver and jar ages ago, when i first got my jar.

silver attacke jar as it got introd to the tank. then jar attacked it.

i separate dthem, cos the silver held onto the jars fin and would not let go. literaelly, was hanging on lol

was ugly!

IMO put silvers in a pond, jardini in a tank, look cooler that way, but i think to have success keeping them together more fish are required in a tank, tank should be like 300gallons, would look awesome if you could let them get along, I thought about it when I was looking at thm in the store
