phoenix44
behind the foot of the log on the right? (if it is right do i gets some ) nice tank as well I got lots of little snails that the puffers have not found just yet - or at least i don't think they have found them cause they look like they want only bloodworms and big snails. tank without flash. its a total mess at the moment, but as the tank ages it should look more natural. Added a second DIY CO2 on today. now im unsure if this thread should stay here, or be in the plant section.

Simian
Just got myself a pair a few days ago, didnt have space for them straight away, so I put them in a heavily planted tank with some swordtails.....can you say "shredded" kiddies  not terminal but bad enough. They are now on their own. The Goldfish Bowl still has some I think, give Cliff a ring, he may still have some girls for you P44. I'm still trying to decide what to do with my pair they were a impulse buy.
phoenix44
I had 3 males and they just would not stop fighting. One was sickish when i got him so the 2 healthy ones threw him out the tank. then yesterday after weeks of puffing at each other the 2 I had left had a fight and now I have only 1 male left. Im getting females either this week or the next. They are a pretty weird fish.

Zev
How fast can they swim, or how well can they hide - sounds like a pretty inhospitable environment and now possibly one bored inhabitant with big teeth and an attitude to match!
