Charlie
Well we all strugle with the current issue on that fact that MAF cant confirm what species are in NZ (private hands) i was thinking they wont consider it to be a required issue at the moment because there isnt enough public pressure for the list? If we created a email and all submited it to David Carter (Minister of Bio Security) then he may see it as a good political move and logical issue that needs attention? we have nearly 4000 members on the board so why not? repto
Been through a similar thing with govt agency, namely changes to the left hand drive laws re importing of special interest vehicles and associacted age limits, ownership qualifying times etc etc.Still ongoing and has been for a good number of years with I would suggest, a hell of a lot more public pressure/interest than we could ever muster?I would support this but would hold little hope of any outcome in our favour. We are an agricultural based economy when all is said and done and just cannot imagine any significant changes? Insect Direct
somthing needs to change...ive only ever seen the list that was on nzhs and that was a joke, spelling mistakes and no where near complete. If the issue keeps getting ignored i cant see things getting any better for us hobbyists and or the authorities.

I share a similar opinion. Very much in support but am not all that optimistic of an improvement. As said, we can't produce the level of public pressure needed to create/force results.
