Barrie
one of the best displays I have ever seen... man made yes but that takes nothing away from them... I love the place
Stella
Really? Maybe it has changed since I was there... a wall with LEDs..... groan. I found the whole place pretty awful, but I guess I am beyond the petting-zoo age. I just wish it was labeled as such.

I couldn't tell when I went, it was so dark and you couldn't get very close so all I could see was a faint greenish glow that I was barely sure was actually there. Barrie
Possibly a problem when you went through Stella? Ive been through only twice since the cans were made, the first time there were not a lot but the second it was great. I also enjoyed the owls and other native birds. I was able to help them with a couple of problems they had with breeding.
steikheigel
the whole place glowed wonderfully, but i got the impression of a cave full of LED's too I kept thinking, ok this is the intro - now where are the real glow worms, and then it was over
Stella
It is not hard to establish glowworms (if conditions are right). My ex-in-laws dug a trench in their garden and roofed it over and they spread there naturally from a nearby population and over a few years gradually increased in numbers.
