Fruju
Go this guy today, unfortunately they did not have any females so i will probably breed with a normal one to develop a yellow/orange strain. I also redecorated the tank, needs a black background, more moss and some ferns, may also add rocket pencils and perhaps dwarf puffers. Any opinions? Adrienne
Which hff did you go to?
Fruju
Fish looks so much better in person, heaps of red and yellow, caudal fin looks like flames. I was also wondering if anyone knew the prices of the red whiptail catfish, or if someone has them for sale? went to the HFF albany, they still have about 3 or 4 males
N1CK
Nice fish, you could try sticking some stem plants in the corner as well something like ember tetras would work if you wanted a smaller fish in there as well
phoenix44
Red whiptails are usually about the $60 mark each. They are an awesome awesome fish though, and once they get over their suicidal tendencies, ( :-? ) they are really hardy too

Have you tried Mt Roskill, the last time I was in they had one pair left and they were pretty hard to locate in the tank.

ryanjury
Awesome fish There are plenty of triple red x F1 babies around that would provide very good females to breed with that male and I would think they will yield a high number of very red babies as the ones I have been breeding without new blood have been.. I was at JC360's house today and they had tanks filled with very nice ones that I think were for sale maybe pm them and see if they have any spare
