that seller does not generally have pics of his actual fish. most probably be goldspot or red spot dont get confused with gold nugget plecos as some people do on trademe :roll:

Im sure you know what your looking for though adodge. also you shouldnt pay over $20 for a gold spot IMO

Thanks for the act of faith but in fact I really have no idea what I'm looking at when I look at plecs/panaques. I know what I like the look of and I know it always has the big $'s.

L001's get BIG.

I always recommend getting a small one and letting it grow in the tank cause a big one would wreck havoc on the plants.

I thought L001's topped out around 12in, smaller than their redspot cousins.

that's pretty big and wide in a 5ft tank that is planted.
