si_sphinx
Is it possible to get insurance on fish? say if a heater fails and all your fish die...? or if power goes off and temp drops too low...? or if a tank breaks and they die on your carpet cos your not home. (i'm at work 8am-5pm) I know you can get pet insurance for cats and dogs but is fish covered somehow for any reason at all? Fish are pets too. phoenix44
not on fish in NZ. unless you are a registered company and pay for freight insurance, or insurance for loss on income.

si_sphinx
I have insurance on my tanks and filters breaking, falling over, being dropped when moving  etc which im always careful not to as easier to avoid accidents than go through all the crap just to get a tank replaced. but always woundered about the fish, i guess its not possible and its a risk everyone takes keeping expensive or mass amounts of costly fish. SamH
I'd imagine there's insurance for 40k aro's and 250k Koi etc.
