Floater
From the search's of these forums it appears that corys would be suitable tank mates for discus. Couple questions though. Does anyone know which varieties of corys do better at the 28-30 temperature of a discus tank? Is there a difference between varieties? Also I read somewhere that corys can carry gut parasites that are potentially very harmful for discus anyone experienced this? Cheers, Scott P.S. Also how would blue rams handle discus? They're from the same region.. so... yeh? Tank is a 450L and plan to have 5 discus. Currently have 2 blue rams was going to put them in there as well if it doesn't cause problems? antwan
I had a few types of cories in with my discus (trilineatus, bronze, peppered) and they were fine. Also had blue rams in there too and they had no problems at all and bred in the tank.
Adrienne
I have sterbai corys in the tank and they happily exist with the discus and temps of around 30 degrees celcius - oh and they breed too!

Jennifer
I saw a large shoal of pygmy cory at Organism this week, they looked superb - kinda pricey though, especially if you had to get at least 6!
