enzoom1
I noticed today after I got back from school that my two peruvian angels had laid eggs on the intake pipe for my filter. :bounce: They're quite large and I bought them from bird barn about 2 weeks ago now. They were in a tank of about 8 (they were from the same spawn apparently) so I bought a large one and a small one hoping they would be male and female. But from what I've seen is that the smaller one is going vertical (about 1cm away) along the eggs slightly humping them, so I guess the smaller one is a boy and the larger one is a girl. I'll try to get some picks up tonight.
VinsonMassif
You can definitively sex them by observing their gonopodium when it is extended.
MarkLB
:bounce: Good stuff enzoom1 :bounce: What is it with Angels and filter pipes? It seems to be their favourite place to lay eggs 8)

enzoom1
Looks like everybodys been filling up on eggs    They tried fighting them away but once a parrotfish, blue dempsey and leopard ctenopoma get hungry, theres no stopping them. So... they started joining in themselves
phoenix44
oh gosh. looks like you may need another tank
Morcs
Get a small 20L and a discus breeding cone. They lay so many more eggs on them! Id let them spawn in the same manner as they just did maybe 3 more times before moving them into another tank purely for spawning.

kiwibrick
 It's possible those 2 angels are fish I spawned! How old are they?
enzoom1
 It's possible those 2 angels are fish I spawned! How old are they? Um not sure the age but they're quite big. The guy at bird barn said a man had dropped off the whole lot. So I guess if you dropped off them at BB then it has to be you 20L? Decided against it. They're a nice addition in my big tank so I'd like to keep them there for now. I have got 120L tank setup atm with only 2 platies in it, BUT its for figure eight puffers (which I don't have atm )

enzoom1
Yep, got everything I need for it. The platies won't stay in there once the puffers are in.
Morcs
20L? Yep just a bare tank. when they are ready to spawn, pop them in so they can do their thing, leave them 1 day, then move them back to their main tank.

Hmm, i tried that in a 35L, but there was still not enough room for the other to get away if they had a argument. 60L seemed to work
