diver21
i picked up 5 fighters in the weekend, marble pk males according to the seller, but im not completly convinced that she was right, ive looked for egg spots and seen it on some of them, and when i put in a large blue male they didnt really do anything, no flairing, nothing. so i released the blue male into the tank to try stir something up and one of the marbles decided to display and show some agression to the blue guy, and the others in the tank. i really want to breed these marbles but cant really until i can get them sexed! dont want a repeat of trying to spawn two males again...
Adrienne
How old are they? I"ve noticed that any plakats I've had have always been the last that I am able to sex. They seem to be far more relaxed about living together, making it harder to tell if they are male or female. Immature males can also appear to have any egg spot. diver21
4 and a half months old, i would of thought that they would of been more agressive. even my blue VT is fairly relaxed in there

nycnlo
hmmmm going by what i can see.. id say the last photo with the darker tail would be male.. rest... undecided... prob female... try conditioning them up.. u should soon see whos egg spot decides to pop out what ive found in the past with pks is they arent anywhere near as agressive as longer finned fighters..(unless trained to fight) due to the fact the males almost look as if they are females... so they dont seem to compete as much also if all these are bought up together they may require being isolated off without view as if they have lived together all their life they will be used to each other so will generally not be agressive unless annoyed enough!!
