AMAZONIAN Posted June 30, 2009 Report Share Posted June 30, 2009 Hi All, I have just received an invitation to attend both the "Royal Queensland Show" and also to attend the "Australian & New Guinea Fishes Association Queensland Inc." on Friday 12th August 2009. Somebody must have fairly good telepathy as I will be in Brisbane on 10th August until 14th when I am going to Tweed Heads and then back home on 17th. I hope to be able to have time to call on some of the pet stores as well as catch up with some of my mates, and also a few breeders of Australian native species. I had intended to go over for my mates 60th birthday on the 12th, and then go to see my niece in Banora on the Gold Coast for a couple of days. This invitation has come as a bolt out of the blue and I have had to change my itinery slightly, as it is too good an opportunity to forgo meeting some of the "Native Fish" enthusiasts from both Brisbane and New Guinea whom only meet once a year at this venue. The Royal show is an added extra, but you better believe that I'll make time to do the Hobby justice.
