Lucid
Just thought I would see how many people have angels and what colours are out there. I have two males and a female so if anyone oput there needs a male I am looking for a female similar in colour. Am quite interersted in this as I have just aquired my first three angels and here are some pics: Cheers B
fins
I have 6 angels, looks like 2 pairs and 2 loners. My angels fins are quite rugged and not smooth. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/Nex_m/angel1.bmp http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/Nex_m/angel2.bmp http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/Nex_m/angel3.bmp http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/Nex_m/angel4.bmp http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/Nex_m/angel5.bmp Looks like this pair is eyeing up a breeding spot. Lucid
Also can anyone tell me if the curve of the dorsal fin on the angel in the first two pics is normal, Like I aid this is my first lot of angels and am still learning. Cheers B P.s nice colouration in those angels Fins.
Alan
The fin should be straight and upright Alan
Lucid
so it would be a caude of inbreeding then alan, and not a good speciment to breed from. As he is the dominant male at the moment.

breakaway
Id post more, but I sux at taking pics. If I take em without flash they look crappy. But If I take em with flash the flsh reflects off the glass and makes it look ugly. Any tips for me ?
kiwimeg
LOL, I have the same problem, i have some of the best washed out angel pics around - the decent ones i've taken, i'm not sure what I did - but hey, i'll be sure to let you know if i ever work it out

Caryl
Get as much light into the tank as possible. Keep the camera as still as possible - use a tripod or sit it on something solid Get the lens as close to the glass as possible and aim at a slight angle
kiwimeg
just take hundreds of pictures - like i do, eventually one has to be good. i have this camera that i dont know how to drive, so its a bit hit and miss.
kiwimeg
thankyou caryl, going to have to run off and try that
Caryl
Good luck. Even with a fancier camera you do know how to drive you may still only get 1 good pic out of 100. That's what's so good about digis. Just delete all the bad shots.

I've looked so hard for visual differences between mine, but still dont know whether mine are male or female yet, they are still young, have 7 angels - hoping i will get at least one pair.
