diver21
taking tank water isnt a necessity but is recommended, it would allso depend on what fish you have as to how much water you take with you. how many tanks are you moving?
kd123
I'm moving 4 tanks (sizes and fish types are below)
Navarre
I have some buckets with lids and use those and chiliy bins to move fish....you are welcome to borrow them if you wish. I have always tried to take as much water with me as possible for no other reason than to try and keep chemistry as stable as possible but its not that big a deal. At this time of year it is more about heat I would think than an extra large water change. And it is not advised to use hot tap water tobring up to temp due to leachates Some people have used various containers such as you buy at the warewhare but be warned in my experience just casue it says it stores a volume doesnt mean it holds that volume when lifted...lol HTH Navarre
Caryl
When are you moving? I have several 30L barrels (leakproof) and will be in ChCh in late July
WEKA
I have just completed my saltwater pickup trailer. Has two 200L drums on board. Let me know where and where to and when and we maybe able to sort out something. I have a few spare pumps as well. Probably not able to help with carrying anything due to a dodgy knee.
