Charlie
Worth a try but is there anyone who makes front body kits? I am in need of one for my RSB Subaru Legacy? Also a mechanic that can do engine rebuilds would be great too. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!
Scottie841
 I can get hold of a body kit for a Levin and then you could get rid of the Subaru and buy a real car (one that does not need a new engine) to go with your new bumper
Jasmine
I'm also keen for anyone who makes kits for a Legnum (VR4 before someone comments about "real" cars )
paul_r
i wouldve thought tardme would be full of bodykits for above mentioned cars. even a quick google should find something in NZ, think there are a few companies that do bodykits. racepro, bodykit.co.nz to name a few go to performance car website http://www.performancecar.co.nz, should have plenty of links to find someone that makes what your after. Jasmine
Tardme usually has kits which need extra work done to fit, and there is little in the way of kits for the Leggies I've noticed...lots for Evos. I'm just always looking for a bargain

It looks tacky and unfinished. p.s. the VR4 is a good engine

I prefer to have a sleeper...so showing off my flashy bits ain't essential. I love my VR4 Great for towing horse floats and lots of room for the dogs. paul_r
p.s. the VR4 is a good engine i can hear ya tappets from here a few mates have VR4 legnums n galants, they go suprisingly well for tanks hahaha just playn round there are some bodykits that really finish off a car, some that destroy its looks. i prefer the sleeper look also, my starlet only having a modified standard front bumper to make room for big intercooler, alloy radiator as well as an oil cooler as well as standard spotlights removed to allow room for ducting to cool front brakes. David R
www.slipstreamperformance.co.nz Mark Evans is well known in the Honda community for producing high quality stuff, and now does the full range of Workshop X kits since James shut up shop. Not sure if he does any to fit the cars you're looking for, but I can vouch for his work. (even though I've never owned a car with a body kit!) paul_r
Shush you, you're just jelush cause you gots a chick's car thats the exact reason ive modified it so much, looks standard and girly as, faster, better handling and better braking than alot of "manly" cars. (new brake and suspension setup best investment ever) almost ready to take to the track and prove it

One day. Booked in to get my muffler fixed (again -groan-) and WOF tomorrow. I started my car up today in the car park and set off car alarms. Sigh. David R
once starlets tuned and legit i gunna go to meremere, hoping for high 12's or a low 13 nothing too crazy.... What tyres are you running, because you won't get anywhere near it with out a good set. I've seen b18c's (not type r) with <120kw at the front wheels run low 13's, and turbo hondas with big power run mid 14s. Set up is everything with a fwd, even more so with plenty of power. paul_r
only have average directionals on my rims atm think they are 195/50/15 GT Radial Events, once cars tuned and legal going to invest in some lighter 15's and semis. realistically should have slightly over 200 horse at wheels once i can afford a new computer and tune with upgraded fueling. was aiming for 250 horse at wheels but realise this may be a bit of a dream with setup i have now
David R
I presume its got an LSD? Tyres would be your best investment, even if they are just semi's, stripped with hard rear suspension and sticky tyres you should get your low 13 with 200 whp. paul_r
RWD=AWESOME=Gets me in trouble used to own a s14 silvia, the mates wanted a drive and thought they were playn need for speed, the ammount of times i almost ended up down a bank or into a powerpole was enough to put me off, and i wasnt even driving!!!! a girly fwd keeps me outta trouble plus rwds are rediculously expensive, dam drift craze has made any cef, skyline etc worth so much more than they actually are

paul_r
yea bro definatly a convert, picked up some very healthy demasoni as well as some e.yellows, well worth the trip from whakatane to auckland to pick them up I loved my killies, but the africans are so..... AWESOME, they are like a pack of dogs, lots of little fights between themselves and always begging to be fed, as soon as food is dropped into tank there is a massive frenzy got 10 demasoni, 4 e yellows, 6 red zebras and 5 brichardi atm. all their colors are really starting to come out now im very stoked. the tank really brings out their brightness
