Might be from flower pot because it has some sharp edges on it?
LYNDYLOO
I would suggest that you grind off the sharp edges on the Flower Pot, so your Krib or any other fish in your Tank doesn't injure themselves again. Easier to prevent injury than to treat it
Dave+Amy
bury the sharp edges?

ryanjury
Sexes of kribs (and most dwarfs) are determined by water conditions they are spawned/raised in. "The only issue with breeding Kribs that needs thinking about is the pH problem mentioned above. For each species there is an ideal pH at which equal numbers of male and female fry are produced. If the pH is too high, more males and produced, if the pH is too low, more females are produced. It is entirely possible to end up with batches containing just one sex, and such batches are difficult to pass on to aquarium shops." From http://www.wetwebmedia.com/fwsubwebinde ... hromis.htm So I wouldn't be surprised to buy a whole heap of them and end up with all males or all females depending on what PH they were bred in, can easily be controlled by breeder (if they had the desire or knowledge).
