purplecatfish
I'd like you to share your opinions and experiences about Green Severums and Severums in general please. I'm in the research phase regarding adding a large fish to my 5ft tank which is relatively tall and has a volume of 300L. Current residents: 2 Angel fish (males) Bristlenoses (most are quite large) Clown Loaches YoYo Loaches Kuhli Loaches Plants: Java Fern, windelov Tiger Lotus Crypts Indian Fern (large leaf) Cyperus helferii Thanks in advance
Ira
They're great tough, very well behaved fish. However, they will definitely eat: windelov Tiger Lotus Crypts Indian Fern (large leaf) Cyperus helferii Possibly eat: Kuhli Loaches Java Fern That's mostly because khuli loaches are very small, I'd say any tetras would be fine with them, but I think khulis would be like feeding them noodles. Oh, and they eat any plants they can get their teeth on, java fern seems to last as little while though.
A-town...
I agree with ira. Have heard that Uaru dont disturb plants but could be wrong. Thats similar shape etc. I know a majority of the time severums are peaceful but hve seen them be quite aggro also.
Ira
Any fish you're going to get the occasional aggressive one. I've gone through about 8-9 severums and none of them were particularly aggressive. Also, Uarus are FAR more delicate.
