Dixon1990
I don't know why you keep fish, you're obviously not concerned about their welfare if you won't provide good filtration for them! I have some 25w jebo heaters, they're quite small. How small are you looking for? They're about 20cm long, and normal heater thickness. That part about welfare was a joke, right? Um, i have a aquaone thats about 20cm, but i would realy like to find one thats thinner. lmsmith
Yeah it was. I don't think I've ever seen a thinner one, but they've gotta be available. Have you tried ebay? That's the only place I could imagine you'd find them
Navarre
Why use a filter at all. I have a 3 foot tank that is planted up to the yazoo. Just has a heater and lights and about 2000000 guppies that come and go. (Yes we have had this talk before) That would give you more room to have a heater and then just use water changes to remove particluates. If it was that big a deal just use an old fashioned light bulb to provide both heat and light ahla killi cupboard but singlular and in a clip on study light thingy. Zev
Gee pheonix, you think that 3420LPH filtration for this size tank is a tad overboard as well?
Olly
but it would only filter the water 427.5 times an hour  7 times a minute Don't put a betta in there tho, the flow just might be too much for him Put it right next to a big tank to heat it

It's like having jetboat motor return pump. I think Navarre has the right idea; how about just a normal light bulb?
Aquatopia
Gee pheonix, you think that 3420LPH filtration for this size tank is a tad overboard as well? You can never over filter - ever ever ever, lol.
oeminx
You can never over filter - ever ever ever, lol. Ok so as well as a FX5 we can add a 200lt sump, then you can stick the heater in that.

phoenix44
lol im usually in favour of over filtration, but somehow i think the fish will spend more time in the filter than in the tank in this case!
