Dave+Amy
Am seriously looking into getting this but I have never heard of this brand before so wanting to know if anyone out there is using this brand? And if so - is it easily to use, clean and sturdy etc? The price is SO alluring! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =209354844 Thanks
lmsmith
It does look like a good price. I don't know if I'd go for it, who knows if they'd still have replacement parts in a few years.
kiwiplymouth
Ive got one. Its the model with the uv lamp built into it. Its very quiet, eazy to prime. well priced. no compaints at all
LYNDYLOO
They are SUNSUN Filters, I looked at getting the same one from the petshop here at a cheap price :-? Wasn't to sure how readily available the parts are for these, as I haven't seen many of them around, so ended up getting a couple of the well known Aqua One CF1200 Filters instead. Dave+Amy
hmmmmmmmm :-? I'm so tempted just because it comes with everything to use and even if it throws a spaz in a few years time it would be money quite well spent still...I asked in the Q section and they say they've got parts but that's my concern too Looking at getting this for my main Discus tank and swapping my Jebo 819 onto my new 200L tank for my Angels. Kiwiplymouth - how long have you had yours for and is it quite easy to maintenence?
kiwiplymouth
Ive had mine for about six months now. The primer pump works great so i never have the priming issues that i have with the my other cf 1200's. I love the quick release toggle for the inlet and outlet hoses complete with non return valves, its way better than the aqua one screw on method and flimsy taps. Mine even arrived with all the seals greased and ready to go. Buy it, you wont be disappointed.
newfisher
I've used this trader before for some spone ffilters they worked great. He seems pretty knowledgeable about his products and I looked at getting on of these but ended up with an AR980 with inbuilt filter.
Dave+Amy
OK - convinced just from comparing this to those around and these tough recession times lol (me over spending on new season boots) I think I'll have to convince Dave to buy this for me as part of my 21st prezzie
smidey
i haven't got one but have a sunsun tank & would not think twice about buying it. i also have an aquaone tank & the sunsun is a much superior design & build quality. they have space in the hood for external filters even when they come with a built in hood flter so i run both filters together. there is no gap for this on the aquaone hood. i have had both brands of tank for around 3 years & the aquaone unit looks terrible & the sunsun looks like new.
