anyone please help identify weid spots on fish

Too hard to tell from the blurry photos. Are the patches fluffy? If so, it is a fungus. Probably a secondary infection to underneath damage. Are there any places where the fish, if startled or chased, could scrape its sides as it shot through a small gap?

ok.

so do lots of water changes. and add some salt to your water. now you dont want to go crazy and add a lot of salt - just enough to stimulate the growth of the slimy coating that fish have.

if you change your water often, it reduces the chances of something nasty getting to your fish. (think of it like an open wound).. a fish with no slime coat or a compromised slime coat is susceptible to disease etc.

I doesn't matter what is causing those symptoms, the treatment is likely to be the same - do 30% weekly water changes (using aged water or a conditioner like Seachem Prime) and get the water right. 99% of all fish deaths come back to their keepers being too lazy to keep up with regular water changes.
