rlorikeet
Hi I am looking for pictures of neon/emperor or any tetra baby pictures as i have discovered some possible tetra babies in my tank. They are approx. 2mm in length and almost transparent. Cheers
Myah
Congrats on your babies, I have baby purple emperor tetra between the sizes of 10mm and 25mm and all of them have a distinct black stripe running from nose to tail. The main body colour varies from the smallest being transparentish fawn to slightly darker fawn with lilacy blue tinge. Sorry got no photos, camera not working for some reason. rlorikeet
I have neon tetras and plecostomas bristlenose
caserole
If you only have neon's and emperor tetra's, it is more likely they will be Emperor as the conditions to have fry hatch are less challenging ( Neon's eggs and nymphs are very light sensitive where as Emperor's are not so sensitive).
