livingart
if you have a tame one it maybe best to keep it by itself as personalities can clash, jeaulousy can happen do you know what sex yours is?
phoenix44
i agree with living art. ive had many birds that we got in pairs or more - but the lorikeet is one bird that will have to be alone. ive had a few different ones stay with rusty for varying time spans, and oh my god! never again. although they are friendly and all - the noise, makes me want to put a bullet in my head or throttle the birds, lol... its not worth aye - that and all the training in the world goes straight out the door when another lorikeet comes in... its terrible. did i mention the noise? *shudders. phoenix44
I dont think ill ever forget the noise migrane for 7 daysflat. I was so happy to see the other lorikeet go back! Took me a month to rectify all of rustys bad behaviours! (bad behaviour being not obeying commands).
