What Guppy strains are there?

lol I just chuck driftwood in the same category as white worms, micro worms, daphnia etc as one of the things that fishkeepers should give to each other or trade for things especially if they get it for free I used to have a big drum outside with driftwood soaking that I gave away if I didn't need it when I was in Auckland :)

alanco nice guppies the last one has some funky colours going on gotta love all the randoms that can pop out.

alanco im baffled

the tank looks perfect

its the curved one you saw that i got for 70 dollars

had ammonia prob before i think too much feeding there only about 30 fish in there

so its nice and clean now i wash the filter sponges in bucket not tap

So dunno what im doing wrong gonna get a real good filter sell the other 2 or keep as spares

Always keep spare filter and heater lol

Family is away hopefully they can get me nice piece of drift wood for 2 foot tank

thats loaded with guppies no ammonia in there

Better to keep eye on it though lol

Hi alanco,

The second picture has a very grand name for a strain (not strand) :

Flaming Dragon Batten Tail - I thought this strain has disappeared from NZ, it is of Japanese origin.

it is basically a dark cobra (snakeskin) mossaic with crowntail.

It was being sold on trademe about two years ago for $60 a pair.

The first picture is just a mixed strain blonde.

ah one of my big females with a white tale tuxedo body died

and one of my bristlenose cat fish died

heaps of my shrimps where cooked alive slowly

appart from that its been good :lol:

my lil fry are getting big :D

and wow i just want to mention that my new fish tank temperature is around 28 29

with out a heater

thats wow high!!

i have to open the lid to keep it around 26 27
