bulldogod
I got 4 beardies off one breeder and they are all males, Thought I had good chance of one being female  . Anyone got a female to sell, swap.
Dougstark
They may all have come from one breeder and since sex is determined by temperature then it would be quite easy for this to happen.
Elaine
just curious how old are they? Was your breeder from Auckland?

Varanophile
They may all have come from one breeder and since sex is determined by temperature then it would be quite easy for this to happen. seemingly the sex of beardies is not temperature dependent. odds would be .5 x .5 x .5 x .5 = pretty unlucky. put some photos up bulldogod, I may be keen. I stand corrected. I was led to understand that temperature did have an influence on sex of the young lizards, both by the breeder I got mine from (and mine do seem to be a pair) and it is also mentioned in "The Bearded Dragon Manual" though temperature is not the complete answer. At temperatures ranging from 82 F to 86 F a larger percentage of males are produced at the cooler end of the scale. I do not know personally as mine are yet to breed. soloman5
I bought another water dragon in the weekend and the guy I got him off has I think 2 or maybe 3 adult Beardies for sale, or he could be interested in a swap?? I'm pretty sure they were all female. I don't know anything about Beardies but the one I saw up close was friendly and tame and looked really healthy. If you want his number just flick me a pm. David R
I got 5 from 5 with my Gymnogeophagus balzanii, and out of the three beardies we bought at least two of them were males, probably all three.

lmsmith
Aren't monarch caterpillars poisonous?
Insect Direct
yes sure are dont feed to anything, i always had swan plants around until getting beardies not worth the risk as caterpillars can move some distance
