phoenix44 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 strictly speaking yes... but i never do, and have not had any negative effects as a result of this. this is possibly because i never add the exact dosage ie 2 tsp or more per liter. iJust chuck some in, and the fish play with it - and it dissolves pretty fast - there is a lot of current in the tank. And then when I do my daily water changes do I keep adding some or just the one dose? Sorry about all the questions. phoenix44 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 help is what we are here for.... dunno what i would do without all the advise i have received from members on here. see how he goes first... u can add a little salt in the water when you top up but it isn't necessary.... if he is better, and your fish have been doing well without salt then you dont really need it.
