Susi
Hi, how long can fish survive without a pump in a 180l tank? Our pump broke this afternoon. I'll have to go and get one tomorrow. Is it going to be okay overnight? cheers, susi
Interfecus
The filter bacteria will start to die after 24 hours without a current of oxygenated water. If this happens, your tank will have to go through the process of cycling again. The fish will take much longer to be harmed, and the lack of a filter won't hurt them if you do regular water changes, about once every two days. The nitrite spike if your filter re-cycles may hurt them though.
kim
what pump was it ? was it your airpump? if so they dont need that because you have a good filter and that puts air into your tank as well
Caryl
My first thought was ... what is the pump attached to? This makes a difference to the answer

fins
If it a air pump powering an air driven filter I would get a new one as soon as possible. If it is a water pump powering a filter I would get one as soon as possible. If it is a airpump connected to a airstone I wouldnt worry to much.
