Sweetysmum Posted January 19, 2009 Report Share Posted January 19, 2009 Hi guys, my beardie is just four months now, and just lately he has been turning his neck (beard) area black. He looks very happy and contented but his home is getting too small for him now, he is 10" , mostly tail thou, and his home in only 2 foot long, and he is always wanting to come out for a run. His UBV lighting is only one that hangs down from one end. Could this be the reason. Also we had major panic this morning, he is used to going out the front yard to enjoy a bit of sunshine but I took him out the back yard to see my nieces and he got a fright and bolted under the wood box. I found him about five minutes later hiding in some greenery very very frightened and cold, he has settled down now but I can tell he has lost some of the trust he has built up with me. He has been making his beard go black again and also half of his tail as well. Could this all be signs of what he went though. I love him with all my heart.
