henward Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 i have FLUKERS calcium, it has D3 ADDITIVE, APPARENTLY this is bad if taken too much. just wondering what i cna use as pure calcium, can i crush some cuttle fish used for budgies? would this be ok? repto Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 good as,anything like that fine shell grit for birds,bones that have been through a fire are also good.food items with bones still in them or calcium rich foods.Dandelions are meant to be good.I also topdress the whole backyard with huge doses of limesand which in theory should be taken up by the plants and passed on.
