axolotl-danio
What sort of setup would you need to keep Palaemon affinis AKA New Zealand glass shrimp? Are the strictly marine or could they be in freshwater if acclimatised? What sort of setup would be the minimum?
Ira
They're strictly marine, though may handle brackish. You need basically the same stuff for any other marine tank, plus a chiller because they're coldwater and usually only live a month or two in tropical temps. sas137
i get them as food snacks for my trigger and miniatus grouper but the ones that fall down the overflows have been there for six months or so. but they do thin eachother out ive watched for hours the realy big ones trying to catch the small one and they are pritty good at cleaning up food scraps. you can get a fresh water glass shrimp though not shour of its proper name, i was getting them for my jags to snack on
